The WAND system employs thin, battery-free sensors permanently installed on the surface of pipework and vessels. These sensors are wirelessly activated by a WAND data collector, providing precise and reproducible wall thickness readings from the exact same location each time. Each sensor has a unique RFID identifier to ensure traceability and automated data management.

Types of Monitoring
The platform offers functionalities that encompass:
Handheld Data Collector (WAND-HDC)
A portable device that activates and collects thickness readings from WAND sensors in less than a second when in proximity. The interface displays wall thickness, ultrasonic waveform, and sensor information.
Remote Data Collector (WAND-RDC)
An intrinsically safe, battery-powered device designed for use with up to 8 WAND sensors. It can be programmed to collect thickness data at predefined intervals and schedules, with data retrieval via long-range Bluetooth.
WAND-Online Service
Enables fully digitalized corrosion monitoring, offering accurate real-time wall thickness measurements accessible through the cloud-based iDART software, reducing the need for on-site personnel.
Inductosense's technology is applicable across various industries, including oil and gas, power generation, and chemical processing, providing effective solutions for structural integrity monitoring and facilitating predictive maintenance.
